Superchunk is alive and well; EP coming in April
Okay, so it has been 8 years since their last studio release Here's To Shutting Up. No big deal. Mac McCaughan started Merge Records. What did you ever do? They can do what they choose. After all they're Superchunk. That's right boys and girls, those crazy trendsetters from Chapel Hill, North Carolina are back with a new studio EP named Leaves in the Gutter. The 5-tracker features 4 new tunes and a previously released track entitled 'Misfits & Mistakes' which was recorded for a limited 7'' of the same name from two years back.
Leaves in the Gutter hits record shelves April 4th just to weeks before their scheduled appearance at this year's Coachella.

Three Bears Design

I normally designate my 'Features' section to undiscovered bands but this eccentric and breathtaking design company earns some mad respect this week or any week for that matter. This past Friday, Three Bears Design had a Art Opening at the clothing boutique Revival in Akron, Ohio's Highland Square and I must say the work on display was stellar. These guys do a bang up job at creating some truly astonishing artwork that has graced not only record covers but also several websites not to mention some heavenly apparel.

To put things bluntly, these guys are the real thing. Quite honestly their future in the design business can go nowhere else but higher and higher up into the masses. Do yourself a favor and go order some killer attire and the like from their official web store. If your wallet is currently cleaned out dry, simply take gander at their lovely variety of past works. While your at it don't forget to stop on over to their regularly updated and always worthwhile blog.
