J Clark no longer a member of 'Jaguar Love'

Sad news graced the web today with the announcement that Jaguar Love is simply a 2 piece band now. That's right folks, the amazing J Clark (of Killsadie/Pretty Girls Make Graves) has been replaced by a drum machine. Little is known about the departure aside from J posting on his webpage where he simply states that because of  "unforeseen differences I have been asked to leave Jaguar Love."

The band will continue on with a tour through Australia and the west coast of US with singer Johnny Whitney, guitarist Cody Vololato and a good ol' drum machine re-inventing their previous songs and debuting a handful of new ones.

J Clark, on the flipside, will continue to focus on his solo work. Fear not, the man has just finished recording an album he has deemed Young Gods which fans will hopefully be able to hear very soon.

For now, do your good self a favor and listen to his newly produced tracks here.

New Wilco album in June!

No title, full tracklist, complete release date or cover art just yet, but get happy, new Wilco in June!

In a departure, the band recorded most of the album last month in New Zealand, and one would presume the rest at their Chicago loft. Jim Scott, the band's frequent mixing engineer switches titles to producer.

Song titles include: Wilco, the Song, One Wing, Sunny Feeling, Deeper Down and My Country Has Disappeared.

Can't wait till June? Pick up Ashes of American Flags on Record Store Day and view the band in all their live glory (and let me be the first to tell you they sound just as good live as they do on tape; a real feat these days).
