Kanye West drops two more from
808 & Heartbreak
808 & Heartbreak
Since the beginning of last month, Mr. West has leaked not one - not two - but three tracks from his forthcoming record 808 & Heartbreak which seems to be a big departure from his previous material. This time around it seems the new record will be more focused on vocalizing than rhyming.According to Pitchfork, Kanye announced at a recent listening party that another record is due next June, which one would hope to fall on the more hip hop side of things.
Here are the leaked tracks thus far:
Love Lockdown
Heartless
The Coldest Winter
And don't forget to check out the killer Love Lockdown (Jonathan Crane remix).
Kanye West's 808 & Heartbreak streets November 25th.

Hawks and Doves release another demo track
Hawks and Doves, if you haven't been keeping track, is the latest project from Gared O'Donnell, the vocalist of the now defunct Planes Mistaken For Stars. His latest track titled Glass Owls has been unleashed online. The tune was orginially set to be on a 7 inch that No Idea Records is still planning on releasing. One look at their website, however, and one will discover that the planned release will instead feature Hush Money and the Springsteen cover I'm on Fire.
Nonetheless, all three cuts can be heard here. Lets cross our fingers and hope that Hawks and Doves first actual record release is not far behind.

Hot Water Music/The Draft's Chris Wollard becomes the Ship Thieves
Chris Wollard is best known as the sometime vocalist of punk rock legends Hot Water Music. After main frontman Chuck Regan parted ways the majority of the band formed The Draft lead by Wollard on vocals. Now No Idea Records plan to release his first ful length solo record entitled The Ship Thieves. Previously the singer had only released a 7 inch split record with former Gunmoll member Mike Hale which was release on Asian Man Records.
Wollard's contribution from that release can be heard here.
No word yet on the scheduled release date for Wollard's The Ship Thieves, however, one would assume that it is just over the horizon.
