Blake Schwarzenbach plucks some 'Thorns of Life'

Just in case you haven't heard, here's the breakdown -
Blake Schwarzenbach of Jawbreaker/Jets to Brazil has joined forces with Aaron 'Cometbus' Elliott of Pinhead Gunpowder/Crimpshrine and L Word actress and former punk rocker Daniela Sea to form Thorns of Life. Band plays a show or two in Brooklyn, NY and someone tapes it. Next day, footage ends up on the inter-web here, here, here, and here. Sounds amazingly promising! Bring on a 7", my friend.
Enjoy...

Atlantic/Pacific debut 3 more tracks

Those boys from Atlantic/Pacific have been keeping busy and have just dropped three more tracks for your listening pleasure. Sure, they are still rough mixes, but damn if there do not sound tasty.
So head over here to jam to "Lights Out", "Mercy was Here", and "This Time" not to mention the previously unleashed bad ass track "The Inquisition" in two distinct mixes.
Just in case you haven't been keeping up, Atlantic/Pacific features Garrett Klahn (Texas is the Reason) and John Herguth (House & Parish) both alternating vox/guitar with Sergie Loobkoff (Samiam, Knapsack) on electric guitar.

New Bon Iver EP

January 20 will see the release of the Blood Bank EP from Justin Vernon. Expect it to be beautiful, slow, sparse and depressing.
Tracklist:
01. Blood Bank
02. Beach Baby
03. Babys
04. Woods
It surprises me that it took him this long to write a song called Woods.
