Sebastien Grainger begins work on new EP

Sebastien Grainger and "The Mountains" have teamed up yet again to work on some new recordings scheduled for an EP in the not so distant future. More news about its unearthing to be released by the man himself in the coming weeks via his website.
Temporary Residence releases new track from upcoming Mono record

It has been 3 years since Mono released their last record You Are There on label Temporary Residence but fear not fans are in for a bit of treat. The Brooklyn record label has been kind enough to grace us with a new track from their forthcoming record Hymn To The Immortal Wind set for a March 24th release date.
The album can be pre-ordered starting February 1st from Temporary Residence Limited. In celebration of Mono's 10th anniversry together, the band is throwing a one night only show at the Society For Ethical Culture at Lincoln Center in New York City. Tickets for the event, which will take place on May 8th, can currently be ordered here.
The 11 minute opus entitled Ashes In The Snow can be heard now.
You should know - Metric/Help I'm Alive

Metric are back in a big, awesome way. Help I'm Alive is only out in Canada right now, but a quick Elbo.ws search can find you a listen. If this is any indication, the new album should be a good rebound after their difficult second album. (fingers crossed)
Enjoy, and you're welcome.
Gods & Queens need your help!

Some of you may be unfamiliar with these kids so allow me to give you a quick run down. Gods & Queens are split between Brooklyn and Philadelphia and play noisy, snutty yet endearingly charming music highly influenced by artists like June of 44, Unwound, and in my personal opinion City of Caterpillar. Its really good stuff, actually. Here's the thing. The boys need alittle help booking shows. They have kinda been out of the game for a while and all their contacts have now moved on.
This is where YOU come in. If you could in anyway help them out a little bit, the work and effort would be greatly appreciated. They have just put out a stellar looking record/cd combo on Robotic Empire here in the states and on Adagio830 in Europe.
So if you can help book them please email jamiegetz@gmail.com.
