Considering that it took less time for the Big Bang to happen, the followup to the incredible album, The Meadowlands looks like it might finally begin in earnest next week.
Quoth the Wrens:
next Monday, the 19th, we begin recording in earnest for the next album etc. in our basement.

New Year's Resolutions...
So here's the deal peoples. This year I hope to expand the film side of the website a bit more. My good friend Bo Bishop is planning on joining the team as a music columnist from time to time with two new features and hopefully I can get him to add a film review every once in a while. I am also going to tackle a few film criticisms myself along with a few film features such as a day-to-day report of the 33rd Cleveland International Film Festival not to mention a few other surprises.

The Photo Atlas to drop new EP in March
It has been quite awhile since we last caught up with the boys of The Photo Altas and their recent recordings. The band is now set to release a brand spankin' new EP in March which was recorded by the one and only J. Robbins. Should be one hell of a listen. The To Silently Provoke the Ghost EP is set to hit shevles on March 3rd.

Maserati books East Coast tour
The extraordinary Maserati, who is set to release a split LP with Zombi in less than a month, has announced a dozen dates on the East Coast. The band is also looking to play a handful of shows at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Mid-March.
